About
The WhiteCaps summer swim team is open to all WoodCreek resident families in good standing with the HOA. The team is open to all swimmers ages 5 – 18 years as of June 1st of the swim season. Swimmers must pass the swim test:
- 5-6 year olds must swim 15 meters independently
- 7 years and up must swim 25 meters independently
Our goal is to provide WoodCreek residents' children with the opportunity to develop lifelong swimming skills in a supportive yet mildly competitive environment. We're committed to fostering a fun, safe, and healthy atmosphere where our swimmers not only enhance their abilities in the water but also embrace the values of sportsmanship, teamwork, and personal achievement
As a member of the Tarheel Swimming Association, we're proud to be part of North Carolina's largest summer recreation youth swim league. The TSA currently has 88 member teams located all over Wake County. WoodCreek participates in Division 4 of the Southern League.

As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, our WoodCreek WhiteCap Swim Team Board is comprised entirely of parent volunteers who work year-round to prepare for each season, and our summer seasons would not be possible without the full participation of our parents in running our weekly swim meets.
